My oldest Son is 36 and he s a traveling salesman. He has had severe debilitating headaches since a out 12 yrs of age. He has just been diagnosed with high BP and said it s possible he could be having seizures instead of migraines. He has blacked out an dost his memory/had to call police to assist him to his hotel while traveling. He lives out of state and is single. He got 800.00 out of AM and police said he was throwing $ 100 bills at hotel desk. He s worried that this may take his ability to work his good job. What could this be?
The symptoms are consistent with common causes like migraine or tension headache, as a first line management you can try analgesics like aceclofenac or tramadol for pain relief.
If symptoms persist, better to consult a neurologist and plan for an MRI brain to rule out possible intracranial (inside the brain) causes.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
